Covid-19 Update

Dear Vermont Value’s wonderful clients, We hope you are safe and well in these challenging times.

Please be assured we are open for essential treatments and essential food and drug collections for your much loved pets.

We assure you are permitted to travel further than the 5km radius from your home to receive essential veterinary services.

Please call ahead to arrange food and medication orders. if not in stock we will can back when it is, and at this point often arrange over the phone payment, to reduce contact. by pre-ordering we can verify your visit to the practice, if you are stopped by police.

As seen on news articles, grooming is now permitted. We currently have a 7 week wait period, so again we appreciate your patience with availability.

You are welcome to email nurses@vvvet.com.au with your order.

PRE-BOOKING ALL APPOINTMENTS ALSO ALOWS US TO VERIFY YOUR VISIT. IF AN EMERGENCY AND YOU CANNOT GET THROUGH ON CLINIC PHONE LINES COME STRAIGHT DOWN AS IS USUAL POLICY.

Call on arrival and come to one of the service stations on direction. IF YOU CANNOT GET THROUGH ON CLINIC LINES COME TO THE TABLE AND PRESS THE BUZZER. We ask only one family member presents their animal to the station, to maintain social distancing. Hand sanitize as standard. The tables enable social distancing. WE MUST SOCIALLY DISTANCE.

We deem puppy/kitten vaccinations (6-8 week, 12 week, and 16 week “shots”) as essential. We also deem 1st year booster (15 month) essential. For a mature healthy dog or cat with no health issues, please wait until restrictions ease. Desexings are still essential. An itch, scratch, lump, bump, cough, wheeze, sneeze, limp, excess thirst or urination, vomiting or diarrhoea, or weight loss are deemed essential, especially if you have concerns.

We can offer phone triage or tele-medicine options as first port-of-call.
